How much notice do I need to give for a booking?
You can book anytime. However bookings get very busy, especially during school holidays, so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Alternatively you can contact us on the day as we may have availability.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, all customers are required to pay a deposit to secure the booking.
What do I need to supply?
Only an electricity power point, everything else is supplied and included in the hire cost. (If no power point is available, please let us know as a generator can be provided at an additional charge. Contact us for details.)
Will I be charged if the weather is really bad?
No, bad weather is no one's fault. If the weather is bad we will contact you before your delivery time and give you the option to cancel.
What payments are accepted?
We accept deposit payments via PayPal or Direct Bank Transfer. Balance can be paid on delivery in cash.
What do the prices include?
All booking prices includes delivery, set up, inflation and collection of the castle within West Lothian. A small charge may be taken for surrounding areas (please contact us for delivery rates).
How long do I get the Bouncy Castle for?
Hires are generally based on 4 hours, full days or weekend rates, but times and rates can be negotiated based on your requirements.
Do you hire overnight?
Yes, under certain circumstance this can be arranged, please contact us.
How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?
The bouncy castles take approx 30 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire and the location of the castle.
How much space is needed?
You will need to allow a minimum of 2ft wider/higher and 6ft longer than the castle you have selected. Please make sure all garden items such as garden toys, swings, slides, patio furniture, rubbish etc. are removed from the area where the castle is to be sited.
Can the castles be used indoor or outdoors?
All our castles can be used indoor or outdoors. We supply sandbags for anchors indoors and all our castles come with safety mats.
What are the age limits of the bouncy castles?
Our castles are made for children 12 years old and under. This is dictated to us by our insurers.
Does JuS Bounce supervise the castles?
No, we do not supervise the Bouncy Castles, you will be required to sign a "Hire Agreement" on delivery stating a responsible adult must supervise at all times. (THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR CORPORATE EVENTS please contact us for Corporate Events Packages).
Are you insured?
We have full Public Liability Insurance. Unless we are supervising the castle, the insurance does not provide you with any cover for injuries caused by neglect or incorrect supervision of the hirer or for any damage caused to our castles. (This is standard with all hire companies).
When are JuS Bounce available?
Our Services are available 7 days a week all year round including Bank Holidays.
Will I be charged if JuS Bounce is unable to set up the castle?
Mistakes do happen, in which case we may ask for a small delivery fee if the castle is unable to be erected. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure there is suitable space available for the castle.
What kind of paint do you use?
We use only Professional Face Paints and Cosmetic Grade Glitters, these are manufactured for use on the skin and comply with FDA and EU regulations. Please note that all cosmetics can, on rare occasions, cause allergic reactions and we accept no responsibility for this. Snazaroo, Grimas, DFX, Superstar, Paradise and TAG.
How do I remove the face paint?
We use water based products which are easily removed with soap and water. Normal soap and water using a sponge or cloth is most effective. Some colours may leave slight stain on the skin but a second wash will take care of this. BABY WIPES SHOULD NOT BE USED TO REMOVE FACE PAINT this can cause a reaction with the paint.
How do I remove a Glitter Tattoo
Glitter Tattoos can last for upto a week depending on the area they are placed, they wear of naturally. However they can be removed with baby oil and a cloth/cotton wool if removal is required.
Can you paint children under 3 Years of age?
Children under 3 are painted at the Face Painter's discretion, if the child appears unwilling or cannot sit still, we cannot painted them. At the Face Painters discretion we are able to paint the arm or hand.
Is there anyone that cannot be painted?
We reserve the right to refuse to paint the face of any person who appears to be unwell or have signs of a contagious skin condition, cold sore or open cut, grazes or scabs, conjunctivitis or other eye infections, runny nose or head lice. In these circumstances, at the Face Painters discretion, we are able to paint the arm or hand of that person.
Anyone who appears unwilling to be painted or cannot sit still, will not be painted.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes. We have public liability insurance cover upto £2million
How clean is your equipment?
A clean sponge is used for each person and brushes are cleaned regularly throughout the event.
